The University of Waterloo invites qualified companies to submit Proposals for a Graduate Online Application Solution (the “Solution”), in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The University of Waterloo intends to select one Successful Respondent that meets or exceeds the Requirements identified in this RFP. An internally maintained system for Graduate Online Admissions is proposed as a means to deliver a tailored solution for University of Waterloo’s (UW) business needs. A real-time, one-stop application for graduate applicants supports UW’s strategic direction for graduate recruitment, and will allow for greater integration and control of the recruitment, application and admissions processes. The primary drivers for our Requirements are: • Improved end user experience for the following user groups: o Prospects and applicants engaged in the application processes o Graduate Studies and Post-Doctoral Affairs (GSPA) administrative staff managing the data processing in support of the applications and admissions processes o Staff in academic units supporting the offer decision processes • Supporting prospect management and communications for targeting and recruiting top-tier applicants. • Improved administrative model for management of applicant data.
