Description

The University of Waterloo invites qualified companies to submit Proposals for the supply and delivery of a Flow Cytometer, in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The University of Waterloo intends to select one vendor that meets or exceeds the Requirements identified in this RFP. The LITMUS Lab of the Electrical and Computer Engineering department uses a Flow Cytometer to analyze the cell samples treated with ultrasound and microbubble to study their bioeffect. The lab has obtained funding for the purchase of a Flow Cytometer with a sample processing rate between 12.5 uL and 1000 uL per minute. This unit will be used primarily for research. The University of Waterloo is interested in getting two bids for alternate options: Option A with brightfield imaging capability and Option B without brightfield imaging capability. The University of Waterloo will select one option, either Option A or Option B in its sole determination as to which option best meets its needs.
