Description

The University of Waterloo invites qualified companies to submit Proposals for documentary film production, and specifically a Dementia Video Toolkit in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The University of Waterloo intends to select one vendor that meets or exceeds the Requirements identified in this RFP. We are seeking proposals from film production companies to develop, film, edit and distribute 9 short [2-3 minutes] documentary-style films and video products for use as educational resources for First Responders. The purpose of the film and education products is to educate/train First Responders to understand the special needs of persons living with dementia and search and rescue techniques required to locate a missing person. Filming is proposed at four sites: Toronto, Montreal, Kahnawake First Nations in Quebec and Peguis First Nations in Manitoba. The final version of the videos must be completed by December 23, 2022.
