Description

This document outlines the requirements for an Air handling solution for environmentally controlled research spaces. We also provide some suggestions based on similar laboratories elsewhere. However, the applicability of the suggestions must be carefully considered based on the entire design goal and complexity/cost of design.
Design goal –

To have supreme temperature, humidity, and particle number control with laminar airflow in three optics table enclosures.
The space inside the room (but outside the optics enclosures) is designed for human comfort, moderate temperature and humidity stability and cleanliness.

Timeline goals
Ductwork and hardware installation in B221 should be done as soon as possible so that client can occupy the space for research. After this, there should not be any further work that generates dusts. The full climate stability is not necessary in the first phase.
