2016023-T-1A1B1C-RFP - Vacuum Systems with Glove Box Integration Solution

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by the University to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of vacuum deposition systems within glove box train integration solution.
 
The equipment is a dual vacuum system connected via interchamber/loadloack and enclosed in a glove box train. The chambers will allow the University’s Engineering research team to sputter, thermally deposit and monitor the thickness of thin films. The films may be based on inorganic, organic, metal or a combination of such and other materials. The glove box train enclosing the vacuum systems consists of five (5) glove boxes connected together as specified below.
 
The University intends to contract with one (1) successful Proponent for provision of the vacuum systems and the glove box train, including full integration of the systems within the glove box train, as well as installation and training. The successful Proponent must take full responsibility and be the sole point of contact for all the equipment.
