Description

The University of Ottawa is inviting responses from interested parties to this Request for Expression of Interest, in order to gather industry interest and expertise with regards to the replacement of the existing Living Wall at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) building. Of particular interest to the University is the experience, expertise, and advancements in technology to upgrade and replace the current Living Wall at FSS. The University seeks to inform the subsequent procurement process from the findings of this RFEI, leveraging industry expertise.

Responding to this RFEI is not mandatory and is not a pre-qualification of respondents for any subsequent solicitation process; however, feedback from industry sources will assist the University in preparing any subsequent procurement processes. The University anticipates issuing a formal Request for Proposal in the Fall of 2023. Respondents should note that this RFEI is neither a formal tender nor an intent to contract with any party and should not be interpreted as any form of commitment or obligation on the University’s part. The information provided by respondents will have no bearing on the evaluation of future bids conducted by the University as part of a formal procurement process.
