2019-40182-RFSQ - General Repairs and Minor Renovations- Vendor of Record

The University of Ottawa is seeking to create a Vendor of Record for firms to provide General Repair and Minor Renovations services for Building Operations in all areas of the Campus. Also included is the requirement for Handyman Services where proponents are asked to provide a qualified resource at a specified hourly rate to complete numerous miscellaneous small jobs during daytime hours. Proponents may apply for one or both types of services. Please note an optional bidder's briefing is scheduled for Thursday February 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Room 228 at 141 Louis-Pasteur, or proponents may call in to the conference bridge. Proponents wishing to attend either in person or via conference bridge need to register in advance. The conference bridge number will be supplied two days before the conference to those wishing to attend that way. Proposals are due before 3:00:00 p.m. on Wednesday February 20, 2019. Proponents achieveing a score higher than 70% on the techincal proposal may be asked to participate in an interview. The goal is to retain at least 4 firms to provide quotes and services for small work orders, typically below $5000, and at least two firms to provide Handyman Services as required.
