To better understand, communicate, anticipate, and respond to environmental changes, globalization, urbanization, and social transformation, the University of Ottawa is seeking Prequalification Submissions from Urban and Architectural Design Research Consultants (Proponents) whose work and
practice are driven by research, systems-thinking, collaboration and the transformation of insightful data into actionable urban strategies and design decisions and who have demonstrable experience in public consultations with Municipalities, Government, Corporations, Housing Organizations, Transport Agencies, K-12 and post- secondary institutions, with the goal of entering into a multi-year contract.
The University executes approximately $25 Million in capital projects per year and is planning large-scale redevelopments during the term of the contract, which the University anticipates will involve a significant research component.
The Services contemplated in this contract are variable in size and scope and on an “as needed” basis with fluctuating demands throughout the term.
It is the intention of the University to award VOR contracts to the three (3) highest scoring Proponents. The University reserves the right to increase or decrease, at its discretion, the number of Successful Proponentsbased on the overall scoring results.
