Description

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is an invitation to prospective Suppliers to submit a Quotation for Digital Fabrication Equipment for the Faculty of Communication and Design (FCAD) department as further described in Section 2 – DELIVERABLES.

The objective of this RFQ is to select a Supplier or Suppliers with whom Ryerson intends to issue a purchase order for the Deliverables as described herein with a Successful Supplier(s).

The Faculty of Communication and Design (FCAD) is building an advanced digital fabrication lab and is seeking to purchase a 3 axis, computer numerical controlled (CNC) mill.
This will be a replacement for an existing 3 axis, computer numerical controlled (CNC) router which has reached end of life.
It is Ryerson’s intent to complete the delivery, installation and commissioning of the new equipment no later than August 25, 2017 in order to have the equipment fully operational in anticipation of the start of the academic year on September 1, 2017.
