Description

Toronto Metropolitan University (the “University”) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to collect attestations from Suppliers who meet the definition of an Ontario Business as defined under Ontario Regulation 422/23 that form part of the Building Ontario Business Initiative Act, 2022 (BOBIA).
BOBIA expands on the traditional typical technical evaluation criteria to incorporate social and economic considerations, levelling the playing field for businesses in Ontario and the communities they serve.

In order to support the University community in identifying Ontario businesses when requesting quotes, Suppliers are requested to self-identify and attest that they are an Ontario Business as defined under O. Reg 422/3 Section 2.

For complete clarity, this RFI shall not prequalify the supplier for any opportunity and is not mandatory to participate in any future dealings with the University.
