Toronto Metropolitan University (the “University”) has a requirement for a high-quality medical education resource that can provide the background material that our students require to engage in case-based learning. This resource must include basic sciences, such as cell biology, for our students who are entering without a science background, in addition to a broad array of clinical sciences such as anatomy, microbiology, histology and physiology. It should be interactive with opportunities for self-assessment and should deliver content using a variety of media options (text, podcast, video).
The purpose of this Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to signal the University’s intention to award a contract for the above-noted goods and/or services to the following pre-selected supplier:

Prior to awarding this contract, is providing other potential suppliers with the opportunity to demonstrate that they are capable of satisfying the requirements as per this ACAN, by submitting a Statement of Capabilities during the posting period.
If other potential suppliers submit a Statement of Capabilities that meet the University’s requirements as set out in the ACAN, The University may proceed to a competitive procurement process.
If no other supplier submits a Statement of Capabilities on or before the closing date/time, a contract may be awarded to the above-noted pre-selected supplier.
