McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of one (1) WaterJet Cutting Machine in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.
The WaterJet Cutting Machine will play a crucial role in expanding McMaster’s prototyping, training and advanced manufacturing research capability. We are looking to support the local aerospace, auto/truck, construction/agriculture, oil/gas, power, mold/die and motor production industries needs. Within these industries and beyond McMaster is actively involved in machine technology development specifically to support the processing of difficult to cut materials that require highly capable machines. Our focus is on improving process performance, productivity, cost, final product quality and support product/service innovation.
Pricing of the WaterJet Cutting Machine must include a minimum of one (1) year standard manufacturer’s warranty and on-site service including all parts and labour from the effective date of electrical connection. Bidder to provide optional warranty of an additional five (5) years with an option to renew on a yearly basis as required, at McMaster’s sole discretion.
