McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the design, supply and install of an Oval Automated Assembly Line in the specified lab space. The Oval Automated Assembly Line should transport pallets between operator stations in a loop. Each operator station must be fitted with a locate station to allow operators to perform tasks on a stable pallet and then send the pallet back onto the main loop on press of a button. The bid must include the design, transportation, installation, and testing of the Oval Automated Assembly Line. The test software is to be included in the deliver system. In addition, the proponent will train at least three operators and maintenance personnel.
The term of this agreement is for the initial purchase of the Oval Automated Assembly Line, including the one (1) year standard manufacturer’s warranty from the time of commissioning. In addition, McMaster requests that Proponents provide separate pricing for an optional additional three (3) years extended warranty and on-site service for a total of four (4) years with the option to renew annually.
