Description

McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for two (2) LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY MASS SPECTROMETER INSTRUMENTS in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.
The mass spectrometers are required for natural product identification, small molecule identification and quantification, drug metabolism studies, and metabolomics experiments. To support these experiments, we are requesting two MASS SPECTROMETERS, a liquid chromatography quadrupole time of flight (LCQTOF) instrument and a liquid chromatography triple quadrupole (LCQQQ) instrument. The LCQTOF is a versatile instrument that is capable of metabolomic analyses. The LCQQQ will be for trace level compound identification and quantification. This instrument must allow for very sensitive mass detection. Both units will have liquid chromatography systems to assist in separation of complex mixtures.
