Description

McMaster University invites qualified Proponents to submit Proposals for the supply of high-throughput genome sequencing platform in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.

A high-throughput genome sequencing system is required to perform cutting edge research experiments in Dr. Paré’s laboratory. The instrument must be compatible with low-high output configurations, a variety of workflows (eg. PE100, PE150) and library preparation methods (eg. PCR-free whole genome, exome and RNA seq). Instrument performance such as data output and quality metrics must meet minimum established performance standards for stated workflows included in technical specifications. Automation for next generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation, pooling and additional workflows with vendor qualified scripts is recommended to minimize variation, batch effects and to maximize throughput.
