Description

McMaster University is looking to partner with a firm to provide a “comprehensive contract” for all chiller inspections and maintenance for our six chillers.

The term of this request for proposal is for three (3) years from date of award, with an option to be extended for two (2) additional one (1) year terms

McMaster University intends to select a company that will provide continuous inspection and maintenance coverage services for the five chillers located at our utility plant. The Successful Proponent must be able to provide emergency response service on campus within 60 minutes. The scope of this work is defined within the RFP document.

Proponent must have the requisite experience, resources, qualifications, plant and capacity to successfully meet the objectives of the RFP over the long term, by providing quality services to McMaster University on an on-going basis. McMaster University therefore requests that each Proponent provide detailed information that clearly demonstrates the Proponent’s qualifications, experience, and resources available to deliver exceptional results to McMaster University within the requisite timeframe. McMaster University reserves the right to disqualify any proponent proposal that do not meet the above requirements.

All Proponents must have obtained the RFP from www.Merx.com (MERX®). Failure to have obtained the RFP from MERX®. will result in disqualification.

Proposals must be submitted through McMaster University’s online Bonfire portal at:
https://mcmaster.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities
Submissions by other methods will not be accepted.
Minimum system requirements are Internet Explorer 8/9/10+, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. Javascript must be enabled.
Proponents should contact Bonfire at Support@GoBonfire.com for technical questions related to submissions, or visit Bonfire’s help forum at https://bonfirehub.zendesk.com/hc.
Proposals must be uploaded and finalized on or before the Submission Deadline set out in the RFP Timetable.
Uploading large documents may take significant time, depending on file size and internet connection speed. It is strongly recommended that proponents allow sufficient time of at least one (1) hour before the Submission Deadline to upload documents and finalize their submissions.
Proponents will receive an email confirmation receipt with a unique confirmation number upon finalizing their submissions.
Submission materials should be prepared in the file formats listed under Requested Information for this opportunity in the Bonfire portal.
The maximum upload file size is 1000 MB.
Documents should not be embedded within uploaded files, as the embedded files will not be accessible or evaluated.
