JC 12-18-718. - CUSTOM COURSEWARE PRINTED MATERIALS

Background and Purpose  

McMaster University invites qualified Proponents to submit Quotations for the supply of Custom Courseware Printed Materials in accordance with the terms of this Request for Quotation. Courseware is printed in black with full cover front covers unless otherwise noted.
Proponents are asked to quote on the entire Deliverables. Partial quotations will not be accepted. The Successful Proponent will be awarded all of the courseware material requirements.  McMaster will not be splitting the award amongst multiple Proponents.  Some work will be produced in-house at MPS’s discretion; however, we estimate that 90% of the work will be outsourced to the Successful Proponent.   
Media Production Services (MPS) is an ancillary service whose role is to understand and respond to the Community's visual, electronic, technological and print media needs with innovative and cost-effective solutions that contribute to the academic and research goals of McMaster University. We operate teams at our locations at Mills Library and the  DeGroote School of Business.
Our services include:

• Project management, creative design and copywriting for print, multimedia and electronic applications;
• New media, video, variable data communications, web programming/design, digital publishing, and mobile app development;
• Four-colour and black and white printing with full bindery services;
• Signage and related products including large format, displays, mounting, banners, flags, and much more;
• Custom course pack production, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), digital scanning, diplomas, convocation brochures, annual reports and much more;
• Management and support of campus fleet copiers (PrintSmart);
• Exam Scanning Services (OMR).
