Centennial College’s Marketing Department oversees the integrated marketing and communications for the College. One of the College’s most important tools in its marketing efforts is the College’s website. It is the hub of information for prospective students, both locally and internationally, as well as various stakeholders, including guidance counsellors, employers and government and community partners.
While the website currently features a static form that allows visitors to direct questions to various departments within the College, this form does not provide visitors with immediate responses to their queries. And with today’s consumers it is well understood that they appreciate, and look for, organizations who they can interact with in a timely manner. To that end, the College would like to find and work with a proponent who can provide the College with an online chat solution that would be embedded into the College’s main website (centennialcollege.ca).
This solution would ideally:
- feature a customizable design
- be adaptable to mobile
- be able to interact with numerous clients/visitors at the same time
- a solution where there are live hours with a dedicated team to respond to questions during selected hours based on the business requirements eg. core business hours, 8:00am - 5:00 pm or afterhours 5:00pm - 8:00am
- a solution where in the off hours , chat bot technology is used to field questions from both the prospective and or current student
- ability to integrate with our CRM (CRM Recruit) for potential lead generation.
- feature chat tags and key words to identify common conversation topics
- enable visitor banning
- incorporate a translation feature (Google translate)
- Integration with program catalog tool https://www.kuali.co/
In addition, the solution must provide detailed analytics, including length of conversations, subject matter, visitor tracking and conversions.
