1.SCOPE

Centennial College is seeking the services of a qualified consultant to engage in the development and preparation of a Business Case to inform decision making of a college-wide Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) approach, including:

Comprehensive review of BYOD implementation strategies and approaches within other post-secondary institutions
Impact analysis of potential BYOD implementation across all college divisions/departments (e.g. academic, facilities, information technology services, enrolment services, office of development, financial services, marketing and communications, student services, other)
Ensuring AODA requirements are met and materials are in accessible formats using mobile technology to accommodate students with disabilities
Potential implementation scenarios/options and recommendations
Projected implementation timelines
Projected budget/costing of college-wide BYOD implementation across different proposed/recommended scenarios.

Specifically, we are seeking a consultant to undertake an analysis and prepare a Business Case, including projected budget, recommendations and timelines, to inform decision-making about adopting an integrated strategy to address students’ technology needs and program requirements, with the ultimate goal of increasing student’s adoption of equalizing access to technology at Centennial College.
The consultant will use both quantitative and qualitative research strategies to conduct the audit and will recommendation based on audit results. The consultant should be prepared to present the results of the audit and the communication strategy to the evaluation committee members.
