Description

The department of Animal Care and Veterinary Services manages and oversees the welfare of the animals on campus. They have approximately 1000 animals currently, which include mice, rats, frogs, fish and birds, this number is expected to increase to up to 5000. All of the processes involved are currently being performed manually largely within Excel for colony tracking, animal accounting and census. Institutional software is being used for the room booking capabilities.

The overall objective of this RFI is to identify possible single point solutions for a more efficient and accurate method of managing animal census data along with several critical processes for the daily operation of the Animal Care and Veterinary Services department.
