Description

Brock University is planning the construction of a new residence, Residence 8, a 250+ bed facility in the northeast sector of the main campus. In addition, a new dining hall will be constructed within the building footprint to support the enrollment growth plan of the University, and a review of access to the proposed location and the replacement of the parking displaced by the Residence 8 development will need to be addressed. The deliverables shall include preliminary design, schematic design, design development, tendering and construction services. The multi-discipline project team will be responsible for the complete project. It is desired to have Residence 8 operational for the 2021 Canada Summer Games.

Proposals must be submitted in two sealed envelopes.
Envelope No. 1 – Administrative and Technical Submission
The proponent should submit the following information in Envelope #1:
i. Appendix B - Submission Form
ii. Appendix D - Reference Form
iii. Agreement to Bond
iv. Bid Submission Requirements as requested in Appendix E – RFP Particulars.
v. One (1) Electronic Copy of your Bid Submission
Proponents shall not include any cost information in the body of the administrative and technical proposal or it will be rejected. Do not include the Appendix C – Pricing Form(s), or any price information in this portion of your proposal.
Envelope No. 2 – Price Submission Appendix C
The proponent shall submit in a second envelope, one (1) original of the completed Appendix C – Rate Bid Form(s)
The two envelopes should be clearly marked as to their contents, then placed in a third envelope
