Description

The Walker Sports Complex Fitness Centre – The Zone was constructed in 2000. The University population has grown significantly since the Zone was built and its capacity is frequently being exceeded. The current Zone footprint is approximately 4,300 square feet (sq. ft.). Additional space is required to respond to the lifestyle of its students and acts as a place where health and learning meaningfully interact.

The Zone expansion will be comprised of ground level and second floor mezzanine fitness areas for a total of 11,910 sq. ft. of new functional Zone space.

It is anticipated that construction will start spring/summer 2019. The project must be completed and ready for occupancy by August 28, 2020.

Proposals must be submitted in two sealed envelopes.
Envelope No. 1 – Administrative and Technical Submission
The proponent should submit the following information in Envelope #1:
i. Appendix B - Submission Form
ii. Appendix D - Reference Form
iii. Agreement to Bond
iv.Bid Submission Requirements as requested in Appendix E – RFP Particulars.
v.One (1) Electronic Copy of your Bid Submission
Proponents shall not include any cost information in the body of the administrative and technical proposal or it will be rejected. Do not include the Appendix C – Pricing Form(s), or any price information in this portion of your proposal.
Envelope No. 2 – Price Submission Appendix C
The proponent shall submit in a second envelope, one (1) original of the completed Appendix C – Rate Bid Form(s).
The two envelopes should be clearly marked as to their contents, then placed in a third envelope
