108487 - Repairs of existing slates on the roof overhangs & a sagging area repairs

174 Dufferin Rd. Ottawa, ON, K1M 2A6, consists of 23 houses, owned by Carleton Condominium Corporation no. 036. The roof mansard parapet slate shingles have some slates fell in the last few years. In addition, the slates have some loose ones, need to be fixed further to the base slates. Moreover, a sagged overhang area (3.3m x 2.2 m) at the southwest main entrance on Dufferin Rd. need to be either replaced or reinforced. The CMG /CCC36 are requesting to repair the slates and replace or reinforce the sagging area. That is with salvaging the slates which are intended to be reinstalled in the replacement area (~ 4.5 m long). The proposals are asked to include the 2 stages. One stage is to include the repairs of slates, while the other stage is to include replacement of the sagging area, or reinforcement of the sagging area as read below. Reinforcement / replacement of the sagging area are illustrated in the attached drawings dated Sept. 18th, 2024.
