The Ottawa Catholic School Board, herein referred to as the “Board”, invites General Contractors to pre-qualify to bid on Future projects for school construction, new school construction and school addition, alterations and renewal projects valued from $100,000.00 up to $15,000,000.00 for the period 01 June 2018 to 31 May 2023.
Basis of Selection:
It is understood, by the contractors responding to this request, that to be deemed pre-qualified they must achieve a minimum score of eighty (80) points out of a total of one hundred (100) points. The Board intends to pre-qualify up to ten (10) top ranking contractors in the highest group achieving the minimum score or higher.
The Board will categorize Contractors into groups based on experience, performance, scale of previous projects, financing capabilities and bonding. Categories are as follows: Group A up to $15,000,000.00; Group B up to 3,000,00.00; Group C up to 1,000,000.00 and Group D up to 500,000.00.
Contractors may request in writing to be re-assessed on an anniversary of the pre-qualification.
The evaluation Criteria is summarized as follows:

· Experience/Past Performance Record/References...... 50 pts
· Approach to Managing the Project............................. 15 pts
Mandatory
It is mandatory that this entire original document, including the Ottawa Catholic School Board’s “Standard Form of Contractor’s Qualification Statement”, be completed with original signature, in the identical format in which it was issued, and submitted along with two (2) additional copies of the completed original in a sealed envelope clearly identifying the document name and number, to the Ottawa Catholic School Board, Planning and Facilities Department, 570 West Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K2G 3R4 to the attention of Fred Chrystal, Superintendent of Planning & Facilities. Submissions must be time and date stamped to be deemed an acceptable submission, before 3:00:00 pm local time, May 1, 2018.
The Ottawa Catholic School Board is not under any obligation to call upon the services of any Contractor as a result of Pre-Qualification.
