CAFETERIA AND VENDING SERVICES (RFP 18-1626KL)
Suppliers are invited to submit Proposals to the Ottawa Catholic School Board (the Purchaser) for the supply of Cafeteria and Vending Services in accordance with the Instructions, Terms and Conditions as specified in this Request for Proposals (RFP) document. The Purchaser will require cafeteria services for fifteen (15) high schools, and one (1) intermediate school and one (1) administrative building, as well as Vending Services to two (2) other sites.
It is the Purchaser’s intention to award only one (1) Contract to the most responsive and responsible Respondent, if any, who offers the best overall value to the School Board, based on the evaluation criteria in the RFP document.
Where provided, the list of sites to be serviced, dollar figures, statistical information, and/or enrolment numbers shown are approximations, being our best estimate based on past requirements, but are not guaranteed and may vary during the performance of the contract. The Respondent agrees not to rely on these amounts.
Combined annual sales at all cafeteria and vending sites from August 27, 2016 to August 25, 2017 were approximately $1,850,409.48 ($1,615,251.71 for cafeteria services and $235,157.77 for vending services). A breakdown by service and location is provided in Appendix 2.
Term: August 1, 2018 to July 31, 2023 with the option of 2 additional two-year periods.
At the time of the RFP closing, a public opening will be held at the closing location, at which time only the names of the Respondents will be announced.
Respondents should note that this procurement is within the scope of Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario and the Comprehensive Economic Free Trade Agreement (CETA) and subject to such documents as amended, although the rights and obligations of the parties shall be governed by the specific terms of this document.
