The Ottawa Catholic School Board is coordinating this Invitation to Tender as part of a cooperative initiative between the following Participants: le Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE), le Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO), le Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud (CSDCCS), the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) and the Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB), herein referred to as the “Purchaser”. Vendors and Suppliers are invited to submit Offers for the supply of the goods and services specified, in accordance with the Instructions, Terms and Conditions specified in the attached Tender documents. Respondents should preferably bid on all items listed. Short of that, only those bidding on a minimum of 95% of all items will have their Offers considered.
Between the four (4) participating Ottawa School Boards, there are approximately 331 schools within the city of Ottawa and Eastern Ontario and approximately 148,500 students. Le Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud has approximately 59 schools within south-central Ontario and approximately 13,600 students.
As a result of this Tender a contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible Respondent (if any), in accordance with the evaluation criteria in the Tender document, who offers the best overall value to the participating School Boards. Consequently, the Ottawa Catholic School Board shall not be bound to award to the lowest price or any Offer.
