Request for Proposals for Travel Risk Assessment Services OSC201617M-063 (the “RFP)
The Ontario Securities Commission (“OSC”) is soliciting competitive proposals from respondents for the provision of travel risk assessment services (“Services”) as further described in Article 3 of the RFP.
The potential scope of services to be provided under the contemplated engagement includes, but is not limited to:
Travel Risk Assessment Services Requirements. The OSC requires travel risk assessment services on an as needed basis. OSC staff travel to various international destinations outside of the continental U.S. and Canada throughout the year. The number of trips is estimated to be 45 per year. Within 24 hours of a request for Services, we would require a high level travel risk assessment report, followed by a more detailed travel risk assessment report closer to the date of travel. The risk ratings will be used in determining whether to proceed with the travel, or whether additional measures to safeguard staff’s travel should be implemented.
The selected respondent will be expected to provide the Services described in Article 3 on a monthly fee for service basis (not a per report fee basis).
Deliverables. For greater certainty, the selected respondent will be expected to provide the following Services on an as needed basis:
a. preliminary travel risk assessment reports received within 24 hrs of an initial request indicating preliminary risk-rating at the time;
b. detailed travel risk assessment reports of the destination, as a follow up to the preliminary report, including both city and country reviews. The detailed report must include not only risks related to physical threats of harm, but also health risks. In addition, the detailed report must include a map of the destination city, location of hotel, and areas of caution and high risk demarked on the map;
c. follow up travel risk assessment report a few days prior to departure, updating the risk factors and any new concerns/events that have come to light since the main report was issued; and
d. value added services that respondent may provide in conjunction with the Services.

Proposals must be received on or before 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on November 08, 2016 by the use of MERX Electronic Bid Submission (EBS). Respondents shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Proposals in the manner and time prescribed.
