00011539 - Propeller Overhaul and Repair Services

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Ornge to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Propeller Overhaul and Repair Services as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

Ornge is seeking a preferred primary provider and a secondary backup provider for the provision of on and off-wing propeller overhaul and repair on the Lightweight Hartzell propellers, model number HC-E4A-3D, and Blades model number E10477SK.
The Service Provider(s) must be: a) a Hartzell Propeller Factory Authorised Service Facility or, b) have a pass result with a valid OEM quality audit report, and with adequate equipment, spare parts, and have Hartzell-specific trained technicians available at the site where the maintenance will be performed. These must be maintained during the contracted term; failing to fulfill these mandatory requirements will result in terminating the agreement.
To proceed in this RFP process, the proponents must be an Ornge / Ornge Global Air approved vendor by our Quality Manager, delegate or Personal Responsible for Maintenance (PRM).
