Description

THE DELIVERABLES
Ornge wishes to procure controlled access safes for each of our 12 bases across Ontario to support storage and tracking of narcotics and other controlled substances.

The safes must have the following features:

provide for dual authentication entry;
horizontal and/or vertical mounting to various surfaces;
powered by 110v power supply;
equipped with a battery backup sufficient to power the unit for minimum 7 days without 110v power;
combination RFID & PIN access control; and
generate email and/or SMS notifications to administrators in the event of forced entries, multiple unsuccessful access attempts and discrepancies.

Ornge has a preference for the following features:

on-board functionality documentation of controlled substance counts, administration, etc.;
ability to generate various reports regarding, access, utilization, etc.;
web-based administration system which can allow for remote access by an administrator;
Web-based administration system must allow for all related data to be stored on Canadian servers

MATERIAL DISCLOSURES
Pricing must include delivery and installation of the safes at all Ornge Bases, see Figure 1 below.
