OLG undertook a comprehensive review of its executive compensation framework in 2018. Following third party research, benchmarking to public sector market comparators, and consultation, OLG brought forward a revised executive compensation framework which was approved by the Board of Directors and the Provincial Government. Also in 2019, as part of a reorganization, OLG realigned and updated its compensation bands for non-executive staff. These compensation frameworks are in place and subject to legislative parameters set by the provincial government regarding wage and benefit increases.
While OLG’s compensation frameworks have been recently updated, the organization now requires third party advice on the implementation of the frameworks. This includes the design of its performance pay program, a review of best practices in talent management and development, and the refresh of policies and guidelines pertaining to compensation for external hires.
This Request for Quotation (the “RFQ”) is an invitation to prospective Suppliers to provide a third-party consultant who will conduct a review of the implementation OLG’s compensation programs. The Project will begin in September 2020 and is anticipated to be completed by February 2021.
