The OEB uses Aurea / Avolin's Pivotal v6.6.3.5 and Pivotal UX CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and MicroFocus Content Manager v9.4.2.665 Document Management system to manage the work associated with License renewals, Rates and Facilities Applications, Board Initiatives, Consumer Interactions and Dispute Resolutions, Compliance Managements, Industry Relations Enquiry Management, Cost Claims, Rates Reporting and Record Keeping.
This project will allow the infrastructure team to prepare the base Infrastructure in the DEV, UAT, & PROD environments for the next versions of Pivotal and Content Manager. Once this project is complete, the Business Applications group can start assessing, developing, and testing code to support the migration of existing applications to the new base Infrastructure.
The new Pivotal and Content Manager base infrastructure should be introduced into the existing Microsoft Azure virtualized environment utilizing Windows server 2016, and MS SQL Server 2016.
Purpose and Objective
The objective of this project is to upgrade the Pivotal and Content Manager base infrastructure and related Integration in the DEV, UAT, and PROD environments to the latest version releases to remain current and supportable.
