Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology (the “College”) invites experienced and qualified bidders to submit bids for the supply and installation of Makeup Air Units (MAU) and Chiller replacements located at the Niagara-on the-Lake Residence. The Work has been broken out into two (2) Projects;
- Project 1 – Supply and Install of Chiller Replacement
- Project 2 – Supply and Install of Makeup Air Units (MAU) Replacement
The successful respondent shall supply all labour, tools, services and equipment, and provide all materials and equipment required to complete mechanical and electrical work in conjunction with the drawings, specifications and any addenda. Also included in the Scope of Work is the removal and disposal of the existing heating boiler and domestic hot water boilers located within the boiler room including but not limited to all valves, piping, venting, gas lines, pumps, insulation, controls, electrical wiring and components, air vents, temperature and pressure gauges. All work will be done to specifications and codes outlined in the associated specifications.

It is recommended that all bidders attend the bidders briefing and site visit. Major subcontractors are invited and encouraged to attend.
Throughout the duration of the project the Service Provider shall attend routine site meetings and progress meetings with the Niagara College Contact Person or Designate(s) to provide updates and review performance related issues.
Bidders must review all Schedules and Appendices (Bid Documents) provided and any Addenda or Response to Questions.
