Management of investment plans providing comprehensive investment advice in the management of funds to meet the investment objectives of the College.
 
The Investment Manager will be responsible for:

• Ongoing investment management services of the College’s Endowment Funds in accordance with the Niagara College Investment Policy (the “Policy”) as outlined in Appendix “A” to the Form of Agreement.
• Adhering to the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities (MTCU) directives as outlined in Appendix “B” to the Form of Agreement.
• Providing proactive information and advice with respect to developments that might affect performance or risk, and providing recommendations.
• Attending the Audit and Investment Committee Meetings to:

1. Explain the latest performances;
2. Report on portfolio activity and the holdings;
3. Provide information concerning new developments or opportunities;
4. Provide assurance around compliance to the Niagara College Investment Policy and Ministry Directives (subject to approved exceptions);
5. Any other relevant matters that may arise from time to time.

• The dedicated Investment Manager assigned to the College to manage the relationship should be identified to assist the College with their day-to-day investment management needs;
• Identification of cost savings and process efficiencies;
• Timely introduction to new technologies and service offerings;
• Establishing an ongoing communications program and expectations with the College;
• Attending meetings as requested; and
• Providing a review of its service offerings to the College on an annual basis
