Description

REQUEST FOR BIDS #2022-26 – EMPLOYEE AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Description of the Work:
The Supplier shall provide an Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) that will provide counselling and referral services to all Niagara College employees, “the Services”. The Services will include:

All Supplier personnel shall be qualified and experienced counsellors
Comprehensive EFAP services including assessment, referral, advocacy and counseling
Absolute confidentiality
Up to 10 appointments per employee/family member per 12-month period
Interim support
Referral for long term assistance in a variety of clinical areas
Self and suggested employee referrals
24 hour answering service and toll-free telephone number
Convenient access to Services
Offer the Services through affiliate office locations (not at College locations) throughout the Niagara Peninsula. Office shall be appropriate for the Services being offered, that is professional, business offices.
Canada-wide counseling services for employees and family dependents
Job search including Interview preparation and follow up
Consultation services
Drug and alcohol assessment and referral
Community support service and follow up as required

The Services shall allow the Employee to deal with their personal and work-related concerns associated with, but not limited to, the following:

Stress – work related and personal
Work related and career issues
Depression, anxiety and psychological support
COVID-19 related issues
Addiction and substance abuse
Chronic pain management
Trauma/critical incidents
Grief and loss
Couple and martial relationships
Family violence issues
Family and parenting issues including children, adolescent and aging parents
Debt and financial concerns
Nutrition support/information
Legal issues
