Main campus building:
Corridors in second and third levels need new flooring (required areas have been specified in Appendix A). Existing flooring needs to be removed and new flooring will be installed.

Total area for new flooring on the second floor: 884.15 m² (9516.91 ft²).
Total area for new flooring on the third floor: 725.20 m² (7806.05 ft²)

Canadian Food and Wine Institute (CFWI) / Culinary Institute:
Corridors in the main level need new flooring (required areas have been specified in Appendix A). Existing flooring needs to be removed and new flooring will be installed.

Total area: 334.05 m² (3595.68 ft²)

The ceramic wall in corridor HT1C07 needs to be expanded in corridor HT1C04 (required areas have been specified in Appendix A) New wall ceramic tiles will be installed over the existing concrete blocks.
Work for this contract is to commence immediately upon notification of award. The work must be completed by March 15, 2022. After January 10, 2022 any work must be completed outside the hours of 7:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

If a Bidder or Major subcontractor (the "Attendee") is interested in attending this Bidders Briefing, the Attendee must provide Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (fully vaccination), complete a daily health screen, they shall wear a facemask and any other required safety or personal protective equipment (PPE) required by the Ministry of Health or Niagara Region Public Health department.

All Attendees must complete a COVID-19 Guest Confirmation Form – Proof of Vaccination and submit it to the College Contact no later than 3:00:00 p.m. local time on Friday, November 26, 2021. Attendees shall receive an email with instructions including a “barcode” to be used to ”tap” or “sign-in” at the designated entrance upon arrival to the Site Visit.
