Description

Special events held at the Canadian Museum of History and the Canadian War Museum are wide-ranging. They include exhibition openings, political events, conferences, ceremonies, festivals, concerts, banquets, live performances and theatrical presentations, as well as multidisciplinary and multimedia events. These events are presented indoors and outdoors at both museums including the theatre spaces for internal and external clientele.

This Request for Proposal invites qualified firms/organizations/agencies to present a proposal for the delivery and management of hosting services in the following categories:

Hosting staff: attendants at the entrance, coat check attendants, and theatre ushers; and
Hosting team leader.

The anticipated timeframe for this contract is from September 1st, 2018 to August 31st, 2021, with the possibility to renew for two (2) periods of one (1) additional year each.
The Museums are located at the following addresses:
- Canadian Museum of History, 100 Laurier Street, Gatineau, Quebec, K1A 0M8
- Canadian War Museum, 1 Vimy Place, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0M8
