Invitation to Tender (ITT) for Construction/Demolition Services

The Canadian Museum of History (the Museum) is inviting qualified firms to provide Construction/Demolition Services. The intention of the Museum is to select the Bidder with the lowest compliant Bid who may then be invited to enter into a Contract with the Museum.

The selected Contractor will be required to deliver the Work and Services described in the procurement documents including, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for the demolition and installation of 125 bollard light fixtures, 22 pole mounted architectural up lights, 8 under-canopy fixtures, 1 wall mounted light fixture using the existing exterior electrical infrastructure on the outside of the CMH as well as one new exterior lighting circuit to be installed in the Zen Garden area at the CMH with 5 new architectural up lights.

To be considered, Bids must be received before the Closing Date and Time noted in the MERX ad through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission System. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders for all associated details.

The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the ITT documents.
It is anticipated to provide the Deliverables and complete the work by July 31, 2022. Refer to the procurement documents for further details.

Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Bids on the forms that are available through MERX or as directed in the procurement documents.

Bids may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
