Kitchen Equipment, Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services
The Museum is seeking Proposals from potential firms who have technical experience in providing technical services for Kitchen Equipment, Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services in Gatineau, QC and Ottawa, ON, Canada. This is a one-step two-envelope submission process (Technical and Financial) to select the lowest compliant Proponent(s) who may then be included on a Source List (SL) for eventual work required at the Canadian Museum of History (CMH) building, located at 100 Laurier Street, Gatineau, Quebec and the Canadian War Museum (CWM) located at 1 Vimy Place, Ottawa, Ontario.
Proponents may provide a proposal for one or the two locations.
-CWM only;
-CMH only including service of Rational ovens; or
-All the above.
To be considered, Proposals must be received before the Closing Date and Time noted in the MERX ad through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission System. Refer to the Instructions to Proponents for all associated details.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established mandatory requirements in the RFPQ. The criteria relate to Security clearance and Achievements and experience.
The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the RFPQ documents.
This procurement is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
It is anticipated that the Contractor(s) who will be placed on an SL will provide the annual preventative maintenance plus repair services on an ‘’as and when required’’ basis for a period of one (1) year starting April 1st, 2021 with the possibility of extending for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Proposals on the forms that are available through MERX or as directed in the procurement documents.
The Museum retains the right to negotiate with the Proponents on any aspect of the procurement.
Proposals may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
Proponents can obtain the award result once posted on MERX.
