Purchase of Audiovisual Equipment for the Exhibition
“DEATH IN THE ICE – “THE MYSTERY OF FRANKLIN EXPEDITION”
The Canadian Museum of History (CMH) wishes to buy audio-visual equipment for its upcoming temporary exhibition entitled Death in the Ice – The Mystery of the Franklin Expedition. The exhibition will be presented from March 1 to September 30, 2018.
Death in the Ice – The Mystery of the Franklin Expedition is a temporary exhibition presenting the story and artifacts of the 1845 Expedition lead by Sir John Franklin through the Canadian Artic to find the Northwest Passage. Topics covered include: its mission, its disappearance, search attempts and the recent discovery of the Erebus, its flagship by Parks Canada. The story will be presented in different settings and with varying visual approaches, from the vast Arctic world of the Inuit to Victorian London to cramped wooden ships to forensic labs to underwater shipwrecks.
Schedule
The contract award and execution of the contract by both parties is planned for the week of November 6th, 2017.
The audio-visual equipment must be delivered to the Museum (CMH) on or before January 8, 2018 with packing slip(s) indicating the Museum’s contract number (to be assigned).
