In partnership with the Conseil des écoles publiques de l”Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO), the Municipality of North Grenville intends to renew the former University of Guelph Kemptville Campus and create an Education and Community Hub. The campus will focus on three related pillars – Education and Training, Economic Development - Social Enterprise, and Health and Wellness – Social Services and Healthy Living. The operation and maintenance of the renewed Kemptville Campus will be through a wholly-owned Not for Profit Corporation formed by the Municipality of North Grenville, in partnership with the CEPEO.
The new corporation will renew and re-purpose the former Kemptville Campus land and building infrastructure. The initial focus of effort is concentrating on start-up activities that will transition to a multi-partner education and community hub, and specifically develop the governance model, operational structure, staffing requirements, capacity utilization, partnerships, and stakeholder’s relationships.
The Municipality of North Grenville is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional services in the capacity of Project Manager responsible for, but not limited to, the start-up phase of operations and leading the development of a Business Plan for the first 5 years of the Education and Community Hub as it grows in its partnership mandate and activities.
