Description

The scope of work to be completed under this Contract No. 201721 includes the following:

• The supply and installation of new 250 mm, to 1050 mm Dia. storm sewers.
• Catchbasins and precast maintenance holes, frames and covers.
• New curb and gutter system and new sidewalks.
• Restoration of all areas disturbed during construction.
• The supply and installation of new 200 and 150 mm Dia. replacement watermains.
Approximate watermain replacement length is 680 m.
• Replacement of existing water services up to property limit on both sides.
• Construct cleanouts on all existing sanitary sewers near the street line, approximately 45.
• Replacement of existing sewer services up to property limit. Estimated quantity is 2.
• Removal of asphalt from road surface, from Main Street to Townsend line.
• Mill asphalt to a depth of 100 mm from the south side of Townsend Line to the
north limit of construction.
• New fire hydrants.
• Road, lawn and driveway restoration, as required.
• Repairs to existing sanitary sewer main, approximately 8 locations.
• Damaged or removed property bars – To be done by Municipality’s Ontario Legal
Surveyor, but paid for by Contractor.
