Mitacs is at an exciting juncture in its growth—with significant new federal funding for the next five years and a brand-new strategic plan. We are soliciting proposals from experienced, full-service design and branding agencies to evaluate the current Mitacs brand, provide strategy, recommendations, and creative executions for a rebrand or refresh. Of particular importance is an agency with strong change management acumen, expertise in brand and marketing, and innovative design capabilities for the development and implementation of an engaging brand experience that will transform internal and external perceptions and engagement with Mitacs. We are seeking an experienced team of strategists and creatives to take us through a brand strategy exercise that will support the strategic objectives of:
- Aligning the brand with the new strategic plan and ambitions of the organization
- Increasing the organization’s profile and ability to resonate with existing and expanded market
- Determining the equity of name “Mitacs” and providing renaming considerations/strategies
- Elevating the sophistication of the visual style and brand narrative to claim space beyond our current imagination
- Providing operational and change management support to effectively implement the new strategy (transition from existing to ideal state)
- Developing creative executions and support to create or update existing branded collateral, corporate and employee communications, sales and marketing, etc.
