Scope of Work:
The Mi'kmaw Cultural Foundation is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to provide organizational management and planning support for a 6-month period, commencing February 1st, 2024. The selected proponent will be responsible for the successful implementation of the following statement of work:
- Refinement of the organization's strategic plan and creation of a 3-year implementation plan and budget.
- Funding Applications to implement organization’s strategic plan: Identifying and applying for grants, sponsorships, and funding opportunities that align with the goals and mission of the Mi'kmaw Cultural Foundation, including securing funding directly related to an Executive Director Salary for 1-3 years.
- Policy Development: Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and implement organizational policies that reflect best practices, compliance requirements, and the cultural values of the Mi'kmaw community. This includes the development of financial, HR, and fundraising policies.
- MCF Cultural Support Program: With the support of MCF Project Coordinator, oversee the implementation of 2024 Cultural Support Program intake and review and refine all program guidelines to maximize program effectiveness.
- Partnership Development: Engage with potential partners and funders for MCF and represent the foundation on behalf of the board when needed.
- Project Management support: Provide management support to organization staff in the successful implementation of the current Four Season’s Four Gathering’s project, the organizational modernization project and the foundation Gala.
- Operational Support: Providing day-to-day operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the Mi'kmaw Cultural Foundation, including administrative tasks, coordination of events, and communication with stakeholders.
