The Bidder shall send an intent to submit, a letter that confirms the bidder meets all the mandatory requirements of Part D – Envelope 1 – Technical Package, (Item 1, Item 4 and Item 7) by e-mail to both kpurdy@pcl-ed.com and mbeaupre@pcl-ed.com before 2:00:00 PM, (Local Ottawa Time) May 20, 2022, in order to attend the Mandatory Site Visit on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Details will be sent to those who submit an intent to bid.

As set out in Part A - Instructions to Bidder, Item 6.14 Scoring and Review:
Important deadlines for each envelope are included within Part A - Item 6.

Item 6.14 SCORING AND REVIEW

6.14.1 The selection of a Drywall Subcontractor will be based on a best value approach and a two (2) envelope submission will be used.
6.14.2 Bidders that do not meet the mandatory requirements of Part D - Envelope 1 – Technical Package will be deemed non-compliant.
6.14.3 The compliant bidder with the lowest Total Bid Amount at Part D - Envelope 2 – Financial Package will be the Successful Bidder for this tender.

A mandatory site visit is required for this Tender, failure by any Bidder to attend the mandatory site visit may result in its Tender being disqualified or rejected. In order to attend the site visit, bidders must send an intent to submit letter, confirming they meet the mandatory requirements as set out in Part A – Item 6.5 by 5:00PM on May 20, 2022.

Bidders who send the intent to submit, that confirms they meet the mandatory requirements, can attend the mandatory site visit at the project site in Ottawa on May 24, 2022, at 1:30PM. Attendance is strictly limited to one (1) person per bidder company. Bidders are to send the name as it appears on Photo ID to kpurdy@pcl-ed.com before 5:00PM on May 20, 2022. Further details about the visit e.g. PPE and COVID-19 requirements and a map to the location will be sent to the pre-registered attendees who submit a bid intent.
