The Work outlined in the drawings and specifications has been further defined by Part B "Scope of Work".
Bidders should submit a technical and financial proposal to supply Stained Glass / Art Glass Conservator / Materials Specialist services to assist the Construction Management and Consultant Teams with a programme of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project.
The scope of work for stained glass and art glass at the Centre Block building comprises of conservation of existing stained, leaded, and art glass, as well as planning, design, and production for new work. We require the services of specialists in the conservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of stained glass and art glass. Experience and knowledge of the fabrication of new stained, leaded, and art glass, and historical reproductions suitable for use in rehabilitated heritage buildings, with new functional requirements, is also required.
The Successful Bidder will be responsible for assessing and analyzing existing conditions, as well as providing recommendations for interventions, as required.
The Successful Bidder must provide Design-Assist-Implement services, participate in Project meetings and workshops, provide build-ability and constructability advice, define and manage Work and design phasing and sequencing in accordance with the project milestones and construction budget."
