"PCL/ED, a Joint Venture, acting as the Construction Manager (CM) for the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project, requests quotation from conservators, including those who have previously submitted expressions of interest.
The Work outlined in the drawings and specifications has been further defined by Part B "Scope of Work".
Bidders should submit a technical and financial proposal to supply Marble Conservator / Materials Specialist services to assist the Construction Management and Consultant Teams with a programme of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project.
There is widespread marble tiling (highly-polished flooring and wainscoting) in the Centre Block building, as well as load-bearing carved architectural elements such as columns, capitals and plinths.
The Successful Bidder will be responsible for assessing and analyzing existing conditions, as well as providing recommendations for interventions, as required.
The Successful Bidder must provide Design-Assist-Oversight services, participate in Project meetings and workshops, provide build-ability and constructability advice, define and manage Work and design phasing and sequencing in accordance with the project milestones and construction budget."
