Description

PCL/ED, a Joint Venture, acting as the Construction Manager (CM) for the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project, requests quotation from previously prequalified Bidders for the Work outlined in this Tender Package.

Bidders should submit a technical and financial proposal to supply Cabinet Maker / Fine Woodwork Conservator / Materials Specialist services to assist the Construction Management and Consultant Teams with a programme of Investigations. The Successful Pr Bidder will be responsible for assessing and analyzing existing conditions, as well as providing recommendations for interventions, as required.

The scope of fine woodwork at the Centre Block building comprises fine millwork, joinery, architectural cabinetry, paneling and wainscoting, repetitive ornament and fine carving. As part of a comprehensive investigations programme we require the service of a specialist in the conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of historic fine architectural woodwork. Experience and knowledge of the fabrication of new woodwork and historical reproductions suitable for use in rehabilitated heritage buildings is also required
