Description

The purpose of the RFP is to solicit bids from qualified engineers for a price to design,
prepare tender documents, contract administration and record drawings for the additional
fire hydrants. The Agreement is anticipated to commence on February 7th, 2018 or such
other date as may be mutually agreed to in writing.
The scope of the project will involve designing approximately twenty fire hydrants to tie into
the existing infrastructure within the developments. The successful proponent should
anticipate construction to occur over three construction seasons (2018, 2019 & 2020;
subject to budgetary approvals). The successful proponent will be responsible for the
tendering, contract administration and submission of record drawings to the Town within 45
days of completion of construction.
