RFP-2017-15 - Community Campus Water & Sewer

Thank you for your interest in the Town of Niverville (Town). To ensure fairness and
consistency in the bidding process, the Town has put forward a Request for Proposal (“RFP”)
for the detailed design of water and sewer works for the Niverville Community Campus
lands. These lands are currently home to the Niverville Centennial Arena, Niverville Curling
Club, Niverville Dog Park and compost site (totalling approximately 16 acres) and a new
Hanover School Division high school as per Appendix A.
The Town has seen rapid growth over the last decade. The Hanover School Division has
announced the location of the new Niverville High School which is scheduled to be opened
in September 2019. The site selected for the school is adjacent to the Niverville Community
Campus lands. The purpose of this project is to design and supervise the following:
a) detailed design, tender preparation and on-site resident supervision for an
extension of a municipal watermain from existing watermain to western boundary
of Community Campus property; and
b) detailed design, tender preparation and on-site resident supervision of an
extension of a municipal sewermain from existing sewermain to western boundary
of Community Campus property.
The existing approximate location of infrastructure is shown in Appendix A with dotted lines
representing potential path of project.
