A non-mandatory site visit is recommended for all prime mechanical contractors and major sub-contractors including, electrical contractors, fire protection contractors and general trades contractors submitting a bid for work on this project. This tour is set up for April 27, 2023, commencing at 1:00 pm. Meeting will be convened at 820 Sherbrook entrance.

- SITE examination
- As noted in Section 00 11 16 – Invitation to Bid, there will be a non-mandatory Site Visit for the Bidders. Notwithstanding that there is no requirement to visit the Site; Bidders are not relieved of the responsibility to ascertain the full extent of the Work required by the Contract Documents.
- At the Site Visit, each Bidder shall examine the Project Site and surrounding properties before submitting a Bid to satisfy itself as to the nature and location of the Work, local conditions, the equipment and facilities needed prior to and during the execution of the Work, the means of access to the Site, and all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and circumstances which may affect its Bid, and all other matters which can in any way affect the work. Bidders are fully responsible for obtaining information required for the preparation of their Bids.
- Failure to examine the Site while at the Site Visit shall not relieve Bidders of the responsibility to ascertain the full extent of the Work required by the Contract Documents.
- In the event a bidder is not able to attend at the pre-arranged day, an alternate day may be arranged. Contact the Consultant for potential arrangements.
- Restore place of the Work to original condition, at conclusion of visit, should any drilling or physical examination be made.
